After a short exchange Darkley learns that the creature is a Poo Wuggy, a sort of Guardian Demon. His name is Fairchild. He tripped her only because she was running so fast he was afraid he would miss her again... and well, his boss is pretty mad that Fairchild hadn't connected with Darkley yet. So Fairchild pats Darkley on the head giving her strange new powers. Only he can't tell her what type of powers she has inherited. Darkley must discover her special powers on her own. This will only happen when she engages others. |
